An Ireland-based french photographer
Hello, I’m Céline Mermier, a fine art and conceptual photographer based in Limerick, Ireland.
I specialise in photographic projects to showcase you, your brand or your products. I am also available to create photo reports for your elopement, wedding, professional meeting or any other moment in life that you wish to immortalise in photos.
French photographer: why choose Ireland?
French, I emigrated to Ireland in 2022. I decided to emigrate during the period of confinement when I spent 2 years home-working in Lyon. Having been a marketing manager, I’d been behind my screen for far too long.
I needed to feel a sense of freedom, discovery and nature. Ireland had everything to suit. So I set off, by car, with a few clothes, my cat, my partner, and my camera, without knowing when I’d be coming back. It hasn’t happened yet. And it’s not about to. Ireland is a magical country.
I’m currently based in County Limerick. This region of Ireland is authentic and not very touristy.
French photographer in Ireland: why work together?
Calling in a photographer when you need one can be intimidating. Even more so in a country where we’re not originally from. And I can understand that all too well, having arrived in this country with only 3 words of English.
I’m fluent in French and English, which makes it easier for us to talk to each other. Sharing the same language is already facilitating, and a good first step. Before starting any project, I suggest we meet for a coffee, or arrange a videoconference. This will allow us to discuss any fears we may have, to talk about what we need and to get the most out of the photo shoot.
I am available throughout Ireland, in Dublin, Galway and Cork. I could even travel to Belfast or to the east or west coast of Ireland, depending on your needs.
With many photo shoots in Ireland experience, I know some superb locations to highlight your project. I am also able to do studio photography to suit your needs.
Another of my strengths is that, as what I consider to be a ‘tourist in Ireland’, I will show you Ireland as I would have liked to be shown it; magical, vibrant, natural.
What kind of photo project can you do in Ireland?

A shoot in the stunning Irish countryside:
In the North with Belfast, in the West with Galway and Connemara, in the East with Dublin, in the South with Cork, or even in Limerick, I know some magical places to take photos. Towns, ruins, churches, landscapes… The island’s riches have much to offer us as a backdrop for our photo shoot.
Ireland is a fabulous country for organising your elopment or even your wedding.
Studio session :
Working in a studio gives us greater control over lighting and décor. We can build a project from A to Z, thinking ahead about sets, decoration, models and make-up artists.
At your event location:
Whether you’re in Ireland for your wedding, organising a concert or an exhibition, or a business event, I’m here to listen and I can travel anywhere in Ireland. I will accompany you throughout your day or your stay and I will produce a photo report for you that will leave you with an unforgettable memory of your moment.
